The central area of this work depicts the site of Tjanginyki, west of Mt. Singleton. The artist has shown the tracks of a small joey which moved around in this area. The Possum Dreaming is also depicted, as well as the mythology associated with the serpent.

Michael Nelson started painting in 1983. His work is represented in major public collections throughout Australia, Including the Australian National Gallery. In 1984 Michael won the National Aboriginal Art Award. Michael Nelson passed away in 2020.
